We all know that football is a game with many complexities, but it’s also one in which the mistakes are usually made by players not giving their best.
The “tampa bay buccaneers vs washington football team” is a phrase that has been used by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since their inception. The phrase has become so popular, it’s now being used in other sports teams across the country.
It’s been a crazy NFL season thus far. It was the same story in Week 10. Taylor Heinicke went toe-to-toe with Tom Brady in an NFC Wild Card game rematch between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Washington Football Team.
That game was won by the Buccaneers, who went on to win the Super Bowl. This time, though, it was all about Washington on a beautiful day. At FedEx Field, the reigning champs struck a snag, and head coach Bruce Arians was none too pleased.
Simply said, this was an amazing stunner.
A 2-6 Washington club takes on a 6-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad. Taylor Heinicke vs. Tom Brady Chase Young was forced to leave the game due to a battered Washington defense.
That is, however, why you play the games. Brady completed 23 of 34 passes for 220 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, while Leonard Fournette rushed for just 47 yards on 11 runs. Mike Evans only had two catches for 62 yards, one of which was for a score.
Heinicke, on the other hand, completed 26 of 32 passes for 256 yards and a touchdown. Antonio Gibson scored two touchdowns, and the Redskins’ defense found a way to frustrate Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
If we’re being honest, it made no sense, but then again, not much has made sense throughout this bizarre 2021 NFL season.
After a disheartening defeat, Bruce Arians doesn’t hold back when it comes to his team’s issues.
“That show was extremely similar of the previous one,” Bruce Arians recalls, at one point using the term “embarrassed.” He expressed surprise that they performed so badly after such a productive week of rehearsal.

It wasn’t attractive in the least. For the second game in a row, the Buccaneers have dropped a game. They had turnovers this time, and Arians was brutally honest about the team’s troubles after the game (h/t ESPN’s Jenna Laine).
“It’s not a question of talent.” It all comes down to execution and being a savvy football team. We’re a football squad with a lot of inexperience. That reflects poorly on the coaches.”
After the Buccaneers’ defeat to the Washington Redskins, Bruce Arians expressed his disappointment.
That’s some frankness from Arians. It can’t be the coaching, and Brady’s two interceptions in the first quarter didn’t help matters.
Surprisingly, things haven’t been going well in Tampa Bay lately. Sure, they’re struggling with a number of ailments, with Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski set to miss Sunday’s game.
Regardless, this club does not resemble the one that won the Super Bowl in February. The Bucs’ fortunes must alter, particularly with another trip to the Super Bowl on the horizon and the NFC packed at the top with clubs like the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers, and Arizona Cardinals.
The insults from Arians didn’t end there (h/t Jenna Laine).
“If we’re going to go anywhere, the idiocy needs to stop.”
The Buccaneers’ latest defeat, according to Bruce Arians
What’s the good news? The Buccaneers have a 6-3 record.
What’s the bad news? In the NFC South rankings, the New Orleans Saints are just behind them.

Is there anybody who will ever bet against Brady?
When Brown and Gronkowski return to form, it will only benefit this squad. After sustaining a calf injury in warmups, Richard Sherman was ruled out, but the Bucs should be back to full health — or close to it — shortly.
Injuries, on the other hand, are not an excuse. The NFL does not want to see an angry Brady, and 6-3 is nothing to be embarrassed of.
The champions’ fortunes should improve, and the rest of their schedule looks promising. Over the next four games, the Buccaneers will face the New York Giants, Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, and Buffalo Bills.
Following that, the Saints will play two games against the Carolina Panthers, one against the New York Jets, and one against the Panthers.
Don’t dismiss the Buccaneers just yet.

Tom Brady, quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, gives a brutally honest assessment on the NFL’s decision to implement a 17-game schedule: ‘I believe it is pointless.’
