Andrew Giuliani, son of former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, spent last year in Durham, North Carolina as an undergraduate student at Duke University. The introduction of the young Giuliani to the political world doesn’t seem like it will be as easy as his father’s introduction was, though. The future politician has had his fair share of legal troubles, as well as some divot issues.

On April 25, Andrew Giuliani, son of former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, announced his candidacy for New York governor. The younger Giuliani will run for the Republican nomination in the upcoming gubernatorial election in 2018. A graduate of Duke University and, like his father, a lawyer, Andrew has set his sights on taking over for current Governor Andrew Cuomo. The former mayor’s second son has some rocky history with the state of New York, and the college he once attended.

Former members of the Duke University golf team will see a familiar face on screen in Andrew Giuliani. Giuliani also worked for the White House as a sports liaison
