The new opening movie for Monster Hunter Stories 2 is out! (As you can see above, it opens on a dark forest, where we find the line of monsters waiting to be slaughtered.) The opening movie is somewhat tender, with our protagonist trying to comfort a cowering woman, before cutting to a shot of a hunter wielding his weapon and preparing for a fight. (There’s a little bit of English in the video.)

The Monster Hunter Stories series began with the announcement of the Monster Hunter Stories PSP game that released in March 2011 and was followed by Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On and Monster Hunter Stories 2. It is a series of games that are role-playing games, where the player takes on the role of a young human who travels the world to hunt monsters. It features pretty human characters with a variety of personalities, as well as a wide range of monsters to challenge.
