Easily the most interesting part of this week’s Pokémon GO update is the addition of new Pokémon to the game. While the usual spring suspects are still around, like Pidgey, Weedle, and Caterpie, there are some new additions to the roster. First up is the Machop family, who look like normal human beings but with large arms and large noses. Next is the Zubat family, who move so quickly they are almost invisible. Finally, there is the Clefairy family, which is made up of a bunch of different kinds of Clefairy.

Pokémon is one of the most popular video games ever created, and it is still going strong over a decade after it first debuted. And, to this day, the vast majority of the PokéCommunity still plays the games on the original Pokémon system, the Game Boy Colour. And even though the games are now available on almost every platform imaginable, many people still prefer to play them on their favourite old Game Boy – Pokémon Red, Blue, or Yellow.

At the beginning of the game, there were only 151 Pokémon. They even made a Pokerap with all their names on it, and the kids challenged themselves to repeat it by heart. After eight generations, the number has grown from 151 to 898 people. If you know someone who can list them all off by heart, you’re a superman friend. It’s understandable that Game Freak had to stop at some point to put them all in every issue. Everyone went crazy when it was announced that Pokémon Sword and Shield wouldn’t have half of them yet, but that’s no surprise to anyone who knows how much work goes into these games. Fortunately for us, the developers of Custom Fan Games don’t have the same limitations as Game Freak. I’ve found a lot of great games made by fans who think bigger is better. Some contain all Pokémon up to 7th level. Generation, others go even further and add Galar Pokémon. Check them out!

7. Pokémon Reborn

word-image-4324 Check out this hack Pokémon Reborn is a fan-focused narrative game that tells the story of a region in decline and the heroes who will rise up to save it. The Renaissance region may be struggling economically, but it is rich in biodiversity. In this game, you can get all 807 Pokémon that appeared before Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, which gives you a lot of freedom in assembling your hero team. At the beginning of the game, you can choose one of the 21 starters, so you won’t have to give up the Pokémon you’ve grown to love. Torchy, it’s time for a new adventure. The attention to detail and intricate world design in Pokémon Reborn is also amazing. Each of the 18 gyms is a real challenge, and the music of GlitchxCity sets the tone for a great experience. It also offers online battles and exchanges if you are interested!

6. Pokémon Rejuvenation

word-image-4325 Check out this hack After the disaster, known as Storm 9, the Aevium region was devastated. For years, humans and Pokémon have worked in harmony – and only you can stop Team X from taking them back to the Dark Ages. In your quest to save Aevium (and become the local Pokémon champion), you can acquire all of the creatures from the first seven generations. That’s 807 Pokémon that will help you beat 17 Gyms and the Elite Eight – because four wasn’t enough. One of the best parts of Pokémon Rejuvenation is that you can also choose one of the 21 starters. There’s even a mysterious random startup engine that gives you a random Pokémon – with a small chance that you’ll get a really rare Pokémon that you couldn’t choose as your first companion.

5. Pokémon Radiant

word-image-4326 Check out this hack One of the most original fan games I’ve come across lately is Pokémon Radiant, in which the Liberty region is inspired by South Africa. When I say inspired, I mean Liberty looks like South Africa on the map. The Liberty region is known as the home of all kinds of Pokémon. You can get the 898 animals born before the 8th. Generation are out, and you get benefits for completing PokeDex. What I like most about Pokémon Radiant is that instead of a traditional linear story, the game has 228 quests of varying difficulty, which can be completed in any order. There are also plenty of competitive structures, like the battle tower and the battle arena, for those days when you’d rather just go to the fun section.

4. Pokémon Red Radical

word-image-4327 Check out this hack The game Pokémon Red Radical is known in the online community for its great complexity. Still, the game has everything you need to beat it, including access to almost every Pokémon up to and including the eighth generation. The only exception to this rule is most overpowered Legendary Pokémon, which can upset the balance of the game. These include Eternatus, Necrozma, Rayquaza, Deoxys, and several others. And to increase the difficulty, this FireRed ROM hack improves the artificial intelligence of your opponents, turning them into ruthless trainers. They also have strong new teams – and every member of the Elite Four has a legendary hero on their team. To become a Pokémon champion, you’ll need to prepare by finding the perfect Pokémon for your team, battling Gym Bosses for their Mega Stones, and developing advanced strategies.

3. Pokémon Unbound

word-image-4328 Check out this hack Pokémon Unbound is a big project that should make the most of the potential of Pokémon Fire Red, both in terms of features and complexity. For starters, this ROM hack contains all 807 Pokémon from the first seven generations in all their glory. They have the right guys, the right moves, and even Mega Evolutions. It also includes several quality of life improvements for a better adventure experience. For example: You’ll have infinite inventory space, DexNav will help you catch certain Pokémon more efficiently, and HM will no longer have to train Pokémon to make them work (so no more HM slaves). If you want to play the game the way the author intended, you will have to choose the difficulty Insane, but you can also choose Easy, Normal or Hard, depending on your difficulty level. You can also try the demo version of Battle Frontier. This will allow you to directly enter Battlefront and add new content, such as rewards for daily submissions, events, and raids.

2. Saffron Pokémon

word-image-4329 Check out this hack Pokémon Saffron is set in Azira, a South American-inspired region with the greatest biodiversity in the Pokémon world. Once every ten years, the migration paths of hundreds of Pokemon species cross in this lush area. You’ll find (nearly) all Pokémon from Generations 1 to 8. Of course, the action of the game takes place exactly at this magical moment. And it’s safe to say that Saffron’s Pokedex is super complete. The game supports regional variants, Mega Evolutions and even Gigantamax! The only thing missing are Ultras, which technically aren’t even Pokémon. Every Pokémon in the game updates its current settings (at the time of writing), including its type, the moves it learns as it levels up, its hidden skills, and more.

1. Pokémon Showdown

word-image-4330 Check out this hack A large part of the Pokémon game involves going on adventures with your team, traveling new routes, and discovering new cities. But none of that matters when it comes to competitive play. Pokémon Showdown is the biggest competitive game for Pokémon fans, with a huge, active community that logs on every day to try out new teams and improve their trainer skills. Showdown is all about the fighting. It features well-balanced competitions that only certain Pokémon can participate in to keep things fair, and uses the latest rules, types, and moves. Of course, all 898 pets are included, even those from Pokémon S & S : The Isle of Armor. If you think you’re the best, you’re here to prove it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Pokemon ROM hack is the best?

If you’re a fan of Pokémon, you probably like the idea of getting together with other Pokémon fans and playing through the wildly popular Pokémon games. If you’re just looking for a fun way to kill time, you might have tried downloading a Pokémon ROM, which is a digital copy of a game that you can play on your computer or console. But how do you choose which ROM to download? There are many different ROM hacks to choose from, but which is the best? ROM hacks are great, because they let you play Pokémon games on your phone without needing to get a gameboy or GB emulator (which can be pretty hard to find) or to go out and buy the game. They’re also pretty fun, and if you’re a fan of the Pokémon series, you’ll probably want to play a game with your favorite characters in it. If you’re still a bit skeptical, it’s worth noting that Pokémon ROM hacks are not illegal, so you don’t have to worry about being arrested for playing the hacks.

What is the best Pokemon ROM hack to Nuzlocke?

The term “Nuzlocke” is included in the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, a fighting video game, as well as some of the Pokémon games. It is an unusual challenge in which the player must catch every Pokémon in the game. If the player lets even one Pokémon escape, they will get their data erased. If this happens, the player would have to restart from the beginning of the game. One of the best though is a hack known as “Pokémon Crystal” that adds so many Pokémon that the game almost completely overflows with them.
