The Saints have a 2-0 record and have been dominating the NFL so far in 2018. But with a tough upcoming schedule, will they be able to maintain their dominance? Here are 4 bold predictions for Week 2 vs. New Orleans.

The carolina panthers predictions 2021 is a bold prediction for Week 2 vs. Saints.

In Week 2, the Carolina Panthers will face the New Orleans Saints in a divisional battle. This is a watershed moment for this club, as this is a youthful squad that, with a victory on Sunday, could tie for first place in the AFC South. Our NFL predictions series continues with a Panthers Week 2 prediction.

New Orleans is coming off a win against the Green Bay Packers. The Panthers’ defense will have its hands full in this one, but they may be able to create some havoc in the backfield. Early and frequently pressure on Jameis Winston will be crucial to win. The Panthers’ formidable front seven gives them a terrific opportunity to get in Winston’s face and push him to make errors.

This squad is still very young offensively. This is, however, an excellent chance for Sam Darnold to demonstrate progress. To do so, he’ll have to focus on his strong receiving corps, which might mean a huge game for DJ Moore. Finally, the whole world is aware that the offensive revolves on Christian McCaffrey. As a result, we can expect another outstanding performance from the highest-paid running back. With that in mind, here are four bold Panthers Week 2 predictions.

Week 2 Panthers Predictions

4. Jameis Winston gets sacked four times by the Panthers defense.

In the season opener, Carolina’s defense thrashed Sam Darnold and the New York Jets. This defense will play with confidence against the Saints in their next game. Because the Saints’ offensive line is so much stronger than the Jets’, expectations should be moderated. This is, however, a hungry bunch eager to make an impression in the NFL. The Panthers should attack the quarterback often in the hopes of bothering Jameis Winston enough to earn an advantage.

3. Sam Darnold continues to improve as a quarterback.

Sam Darnold had a rough start to the season opener, but he ultimately recovered his poise. He’s been given a fresh lease on life in Carolina, and he looked more assured than ever against the Jets. The Saints recently came close to shutting out the Packers, so this may be a difficult battle for Darnold. Up the case, the Panthers are counting on their starting quarterback to put in another strong effort.

2. DJ Moore demonstrates why he is Carolina’s best wide receiver.

DJ Moore hasn’t exactly shone in the NFL thus far, but it’s not for a lack of ability. He had a terrific game in the season opener, which might have been much better if he had caught a touchdown pass. DJ Moore has all of the talent in the world, therefore the scoring chances will arrive. Moore should be on your radar in Week 2, as he has a chance to thrash the Saints with multiple touchdowns on Sunday.

1. Christian McCaffrey rumbles for more than 250 yards and three touchdowns.

The Panthers’ offense has Christian McCaffrey as option A, B, and C. In Week 1, he led the team in rushing and receiving, which is something he should accomplish on a regular basis. However, he has yet to reach the end zone, but that might change against the Saints. In Week 2, McCaffrey is expected to have another big game, as he hopes to lead the Panthers in running, receiving, and scoring.

Regardless, are you looking forward to Panthers-Saints?
